XS remote shutdown connector

 

The XS inverter supports the Remote Shutdown functionality. A connector is supplied for this, which must be connected regardless of whether the Remote Shutdown function is used. If the connector is not installed then the inverter will remain in 'waiting' status, thus will not generate power.

 

The connector is equipped with a green wire (+/- 3 cm) that is connected at the bottom. This connector can be found in the separate box supplied in the inverter box. This separate box also states that it is mandatory to connect this connector.

 

 

 

If the green wire is missing, a 1mm2 wire can easily be used to loop through pin 4 and pin 5. Any other wires or components present on the bottom side of the connector should be removed. See the following photo for the correct configuration:

 

 

The RemoteShutdown connector must be installed between the AC connector and WiFi module. See the following photos for the exact location:
