Transfer the SEMSPortal-account to a new owner

If there is a new owner of the inverter and you wish to transfer the monitor account on SEMS Portal.

There are 2 ways to transfer the monitoring account to a new owner or email:


Option 1 (Transfer your account and the historical data)

This option allows you to transfer your account to the new owner and allows them to keep the historical generation data. To do this, log into your account on www.semsportal.com and change the email address to the new owners email address.

 

Option 2 (Create a new account)

This option will create a new account for the owner and erase the historical generation data for the plant. To create a new account for an already registered inverter, it is necessary to send us a picture of the label located on the side of the inverter. Note that the whole label needs to be visible in the photo and the photo needs to be sent from the e-mail address of the new owner. After receiving this, we will provide the serial number necessary to link the inverter to the new account on the SEMS Portal. The new owner can now register a new account and connect the inverter via www.semsportal.com. Please note that all historical data will be deleted and not visible to the new owner with this option.
