With the following instructions, you can check the Load and Meter curves on SEMS of your PV System equipped with a SEC1000.
In case of an error installation of the SEC1000, you may observe the load and meter curve inconsistent on SEMS. See the figure 1 and figure 2 as an examples of installation errors.
To monitor and visualize properly the SEC1000, please check and confirm the following points:
Confirm the correct installation of the Current Transformers (CT).
Confirm the correct ratio setup on the SEC1000.
Checking the displayed real time data on Promate as follow:
Turn OFF the PV system
The energy consumed is supplied by the grid (import)
Refresh “Get Data” in Promate
“RealTime Data” window will be displayed
Check the power values shown
Power (+): energy-to-grid export à impossible scenario (system OFF)
Check the installation (direction) of CTs
Power (-): importing power from the grid à correct
Check the consistency of the displayed values*
Check the “CT ratio” of the installed transformer (observe 2)
Check the correlation between the measured phase (voltage) and its CT
Please, carefully check the above points to monitor properly the Load and Meter curves on SEMS. Below, see the figure 3 as an example of the correct curves monitored by a SEC1000.
